Our History
While the Tumbling Waters name was launched In December 2008, the retreat center and property was established in 1994 as Ramah Darom. In response to community demand, Ramah Darom has flourished with the determination and commitment of individuals and communities throughout the South. Ramah Darom’s mission is to create an experiential and informal “educational village” to advance, promote and foster the religious and educational needs of Jewish communities in the Southeastern United States. Ramah Darom offers both a summer camp devoted to Jewish learning and a year-round retreat center with programs for young adults, seniors and families. For more information about Camp Ramah Darom, visit www.ramahdarom.org.Years prior to its discovery by Ramah Darom, our land was the home of Camp Tumbling Waters. Our retreat center name salutes our fascinating property history and showcases our beautiful, onsite waterfall.

We are . . . Tumbling Waters has been voted "Best Conference Resort" in Georgia for 2009.
